Founded in 2011, Health Gorilla, Inc. has painstakingly built, runs and optimizes the first proven, secure clinical network. Our platform and solutions connect patients, physicians and all other medical professionals, Healthcare organizations (including Affordable Care Organizations, Independent Physician Associations and Managed Care Organizations), clinical laboratories, vendors and more. With the introduction of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) came additional complexity: there are hundreds of EMR vendors, yet they cannot “speak” to one another. Health Gorilla solutions enable all parties to share and analyze data with an average traffic of 5 million records every day to enhance efficiencies and outcomes.
Thus, Health Gorilla reduces the time spent on phone calls, chasing faxes and paper driven manual processes. Our solutions also reduce errors that can occur along the way. Demonstrating our commitment to innovate for our users, we seek out opportunities to remain at the leadership edge by participating in key initiatives and standards, including the development of the Trusted Exchange Framework Common Agreement (TEFCA).
Healthcare in the United States, and beyond, is in the midst of a radical shift from Fees-for-Service to Value-based Care. The lack of systems interoperability has been a significant impediment to completing this transition effectively. Health Gorilla bridges this gap as the proven, secure clinical network, balancing privacy concerns with interoperability effectiveness.
