Health Gorilla Gears Up for ViVE and HIMSS 2022

The Health Gorilla team is headed to Florida next month to participate in healthcare information and technology conferences brand-new and tried-and-true.

First up will be ViVE’s inaugural event March 6-9 in Miami Beach, followed by the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Health Conference March 14-18 in Orlando.

With the theme “Rethink. Redefine. Reimagine health,” HIMSS22 promises bold perspectives, cutting-edge products and solutions, and new opportunities to make connections–as well as the kind of essential education attendees have come to expect from the nonprofit organization that has been hosting these conferences since its inception in 1962.

ViVE

On the other side of the spectrum is ViVE, which is holding its first event ever–merging the leadership of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME)  and the digital marketplace of HLTH to create a technology meetup focused on the business of transformation in healthcare. It will bring together C-suite executives, senior digital health leaders and buyers, health startups and investors, government and solution providers.

ViVE will welcome 3,500-plus attendees, more than 300 sponsors, and 250 speakers to the Miami Beach Convention Center. Panels and educational sessions are grouped into 15 different themes

Health Gorilla CEO and co-founder Steve Yaskin will participate in a panel session with Lisa Bari, MBA, MPH and CEO of Civitas Networks for Health; Mariann Yeager, CEO of The Sequoia Project; and Alan Swenson, Executive Director of Carequality. The discussion will focus on the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) and Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs).

“Interoperability Stakeholders Accessing On-Ramps to the U.S. Health Data Superhighway” will be moderated by Brad Ryan, MD, Chief Product Officer for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). It begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 8. The full ViVE agenda can be found here

Stop by booth 502 in the exhibition hall, where we’ll be answering questions, doing product demos, and talking about all things healthcare technology. Schedule some time with us here.

HIMSS

HIMSS22 has 200-plus thought leadership sessions planned and will host more than 700 companies in the Orange County Convention Center exhibition space. Find Health Gorilla at booth 2379 in the West Hall, or fill out this form to set aside time to meet with us or get a demo.

Maylee Wu, Health Gorilla’s Vice President of Product Development, will participate in demonstrations of use cases with CommonWell Health Alliance during the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase™. They will follow the healthcare journey of a traveling nurse from New York with multiple sclerosis who gets a respiratory infection and then pneumonia while working in Louisiana, demonstrating how his providers are able to coordinate better care with access to all of his records.

Demos will begin at 15 minutes past the hour in Vignette 3 at Booth 8240, Hall E. The showcase runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 17.

If you can’t make it to the conference in person, a Digital Pass is available with access to 30-plus hours of content exclusive to HIMSS22 Digital, networking opportunities such as 1:1 meetups, live facilitated dialogues, and on-demand access to content through April 30, 2022.
