Dr. Galvin is dual-board certified in Clinical Informatics and Pediatrics – and an innovative and strategic clinical informatics leader leveraging HIT solutions to improve patient-centered care delivery. She guides national workgroups and serves as an advisor to health IT vendors regarding complex issues of privacy to support the rapidly-evolving interoperable continuum of care. This January, she joined Dr. Lane as a member of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s (ONC) Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC). They also serve together on the ONC’s HTI-1 Proposed Rule Task Force which is digging into the details and providing feedback regarding the latest round of ONC rulemaking meant to advance health IT and nationwide interoperability.
